Sis, my sincerest condolences to you and the girls. I worked with Ed for over 20 years at the DOT and he was just the greatest boss ever. He moved to another department and I took over his job, thanks to his excellent tutelage through the years. I will never forget his beautiful blue eyes. God rest his soul, and may the Good Lord Bless and Keep you. Tom Smith NYSDOT

My Dear Friends Dawn, Tracy, and "Mom" Mulford, I'm so very sorry to hear of your Dad's/Husband's passing. I basically spent my high school years growing up in your fun loving household and enjoyed many many awesome adventures including camping in the woods, and beautiful weekends at the Camp. Memories I will cherish. My heart is heavy for you during this sad and difficult time. May he rest in peace. Love you all...Gina Santiamo

Dear Sissy, So, so sorry to hear about Ed. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. He held a very special place in my and my family's heart...especially me, Martha, and my pops. He was so funny, kind, and just a really special person...just like you. My favorite memory was when Ed, you, me, Martha and pops went to the Yankee Candle flagship store. Pops was in a wheelchair and we were all deciding who was going to take him around to look at the candles. Ed pops up and says..."you girls do your thing, and Farmer and I will do ours. Have fun.! " Coming home, Ed and pops said they had the best time together, and it's a day I'll always remember and cherish. Love you sis with all my heart. Love, Linda Bohlinger

Ed had a tremendous impact on me, professionally and personally. His humanity, humility and selfless dedication to serving others set an example I will always draw inspiration from. I was fortunate to have Ed as my boss and blessed to know Ed as a friend. His generous, cheerful and friendly way of speaking with people in all kinds of circumstances conveyed respect and leadership and compassion all at the same time. My deepest condolences to Ed’s family and the countless friends who, like me, will always cherish their memories of this very remarkable man.
