Shirley E. Bodley, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 16, 2023. Shirley was born on May 23, 1930 in Poughkeepsie NY to Estelle Thurst and Irving Dedrick. She has been a lifetime resident of New York. In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband Calvin of 59 years, her sister Alice and brothers Lloyd, Vincent, Melvin and Earl.
Shirley was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family. She was always surrounded with much love and laughter by her many nieces/nephews, relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:00am at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie, NY.
