Jamal K. Habaybeh Alaqil, 82 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away at home on Saturday, February 11, 2023. He was born in Jordan on May 15, 1940 to Karam Hubaybeh and Katrina Zedian. He married Nafal Tashman in Jordan in 1971. She predeceased him on January 14, 2023. A local resident since 2004, Jamal was previously employed as a Driver and a Machine operator. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Muhammad and Sandra Neshiewat of Poughkeepsie, NY, son and daughter-in-law Bishara and Marisa Andraws Alakeel of Poughkeepsie, NY and his grandchildren Natalie, Jamal, David, Jordan, Julian and Daniella. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Funeral Services will take place the following day on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 10:00am at St. James Church, 441 Violet Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
