Obituary of Rosemary O Warner

Rosemary O. Warner, 74, of Hyde Park, NY passed away very peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2023, at The Brookmeade Baptist Nursing home in Rhinebeck.  Born in Augusta, GA on July 10, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John L. Stephens and Dorothy De Angelis.  She has been a local resident for 30 years.  Rosemary worked for Adams Fairacre Farms for almost 17 years and Duchess County Board of Election and Board of health for over 15 years.  She came out of retirement and was a school bus monitor for Alington School District.  She is survived by husband of 22 years Michael “Mike” Warner of Hyde Park.  She is also survived by their son David of Yorktown Heights, her daughter Dorothy and husband Wayne of VT.  Her stepdaughters Michelle and Shannon Warner of South Carolina and eight grandchildren; Alyssa, Gervanna, Anelli, Sereniti, Ryan, Kristi, Zachery and Janelle, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Rose loved camping and playing games with the grandchildren.  She was a dog lover.  Her dogs Snowball, Clancy and her service dog Bud, who visited her often at the nursing home brought her great joy.  Rose enjoyed playing games with her closet friends, who would call and visit often.  I want  to thank the wonderful staff and special nurses at Brookmeade for the warm love and compassion you gave her.  Funeral Services are private, there will be a celebration of life at a later date for family and close friends.  Any donations may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy P.
